HOMIJ Technical Installations 01/02 to 01/03 Senior Systems Administrator, tier 2 and 3, 350 users spread over 9 remote locations - Managed Compaq SAN by first backing up servers, then breaking up disk configuration, then created disk sets (depending on reliability and speed requirements, raid 1, 5 or 6) and restoring data with the use of a Compaq DLT Tape robot and Backup Exec – arranged frequent support for the robot.
- Responsible for DHCP and DNS server administration, Managed AD Trees/forests/user management
- Used Cisco IOS commands to troubleshoot WAN Connection problems on Cisco routers, if necessary contacted WAN provider with relevant information to start and follow through with a service call.
- Created documentation in both Word and Visio.
- Administrated Windows Exchange 2000 server in a Windows 2000 environment to include the creation of user accounts, configuration of Microsoft Outlook at the end-users workstation, as well as provisioning Outlook Web Access capabilities
- Administrated Citrix MetaFrame 1.8/2000
- Administrated Windows 2000 Workstations and Servers participated in the upgrade from NT to 2000 domain.
